Phil Martin
President and CEO

Phil Martin
has over 30 years of experience serving as CEO of several E&P companies
with operations in Texas and Louisiana. He has a history of
building successful energy teams and key industry alliances that has resulted
in considerable equity gains for investors. He is skilled at
integrating cutting edge technology with traditional experience to execute
profitable oil and gas programs.
Phil began his career as a
geologist at Union Texas Petroleum and has served as CEO of a series of
privately held companies, leading up to the founding of New Century
Exploration in 1998.
He has made many industry
presentations on current oil field topics, including
"An Industry Perspective on Shale Gas Plays" at the HGS
Applied Geosciences Mudstone Conference in Houston.
He presented "Thriving as an E&P in a High Decline World" at Tudor
Pickering's Hotter 'n Hell Energy Forum and "The Haynesville Shale Reveals Its Secrets"
at the SIPES
Continuing Education Seminar at the Marathon Oil Conference Center in
Houston and at the SIPES National Convention in Hilton Head,
South Carolina. He also presented "Fishing with
Dynamite: 3D Seismic Exploration in the Gulf Coast" to the HGS, and to
SIPES Chapters in Lafayette, Oklahoma City, and Corpus Christi, as well
as the South Texas Geological Society in San Antonio.
He is a member of AAPG, AAPL, SEG, HGS, GSA,
SIPES (BOD - Houston), TIPRO, IPAA, Houston Energy Council (BOD),
Houston Producers Forum, and Onshore Exploration Independents. He
is a member of the AAPG Trustees Foundation and the LSU Foundation
and served on an advisory committee to the Texas Board of Professional
Geoscientists. Phil
is a Certified Petroleum Geologist
(Division of Professional Affairs, AAPG, No. 4333), a Certified Earth
Scientist (SIPES No. 2390), and Licensed Professional Geoscientist
(State of Texas, No. 5393).
He
is a fourth-generation earth scientist
with a B.S. in Geology from LSU and M.S. from UL.
Narda Martin
Vice President and CFO

Narda Martin
is Co-Founder of New Century and oversees
treasury and accounting functions. She also manages the employee benefits
programs for the company, including a performance-based bonus system,
optional project participation, 401-K's and a medical insurance plan
for employees.
Narda is also CEO of
True Electric, LLC, a Retail Electric
Provider serving the state of Texas.
She is a third generation
accountant and attended university at UL.
Walt Stone
Chief Geologist

Walt Stone is a skilled
Geologist and Geophysicist with over 30 years of experience in the oil
and gas industry. He is particularly expert at
quickly assessing new oil and gas acquisition and
exploitation opportunities incorporating available 3D geophysical,
geologic, production and drilling data through the use of
cutting edge technology, including
GIS, computer systems and imagery. He is expert in the use
of the Seismic Micro Technology Software used at New Century for 3D
seismic and database management.
Walt began his career at Cities Service as a Senior
Exploration Geologist, followed by a stint at OXY as a Senior
Development Geologist. He has since spent his career working in various
roles for smaller independent companies, with heavy experience in Texas,
Louisiana, Paraguay, Argentina and The Republic of Congo.
Walt has
originated and developed oil and gas programs onshore and offshore Gulf
Coast Texas and Louisiana. He has specialized in accurately
depicting oil and gas reserves, risk reduction, and reserve development
by utilizing the most up to date geological, geophysical, and display
technologies. Over his career and as a consultant at New Century, he has played an
inside role in many oil and gas discoveries/field extensions in
Cretaceous, Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene age
petroleum reservoirs.
Walt received a B.S. in Geology
from Lamar University.
Clendon Caire
Petroleum Engineer

Clendon Caire is a
Petroleum Engineer with over 35 years of operational experience in Texas
and Louisiana.
He has managed most of New
Century's operations over the last 10 years. Clendon
manages New Century's
field engineers and supervisors. He began his career with Texaco and rose to become
District Production
Engineer, involved in drilling, completion,
production and work-over operations. Before joining New Century
he
was Engineering Manager for Zinn
Petroleum and also previously
worked for Cockrell Corporation.
Clendon received a B.S. in
Petroleum Engineering from LSU and completed graduate courses in
Petroleum
Engineering, Mineral Law and Business Law from UL.
Seth Jortner, RL
Landman -
Texas

Seth
Jortner is a Senior Petroleum Landman with a specialty in land and lease
title. His experience includes work in the Gulf Coast, North
Louisiana, and East Texas. Seth is responsible for office
management and support for leasing operations in Texas, using iLandman for lease and title
management.
He has widespread experience with
leasing activities in Texas. He is a Notary Public and active
member of AAPL, HAPL, and IPAA. Seth received a B.A. in Petroleum
Land Management from Texas Tech in the Rawls College of Business.
Joe
Martin
Landman
- Louisiana


Joe
Martin is a Senior Petroleum Landman with a long history in Louisiana
and Texas. He covers a wide range of land and operational issues,
with extensive experience in leasing, title, regulatory, unitization and
production related issues. Joe is skilled in several GIS software
programs and specializes in all phases of projects
from inception through development and production.
He
graduated from The University of Louisiana and is a notary public.
Candyce Ter Haar
Reports and Office Manager

Candyce Ter Haar's
responsibilities include business agreements, operational reporting and
other functions at New Century. She is a 5 year veteran of the
company and attended university at LSU.
Lindsay Holley
Contracts and Regulatory


Lindsay Holly is a 10 year employee of New Century
has had an important role in its success, managing contracts and regulatory matters. She is also
involved in many other aspects of the company business.
Lindsay
graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Texas Christian University with a
B.S. degree in Psychology.
Katrina Muckelroy Denmond
Communications

Katrina manages front line
communications, reporting and public
relations for New Century. She is responsible for coordinating
various departments and scheduling company activities. She also plays an
important role in professional event planning for the company.
Jesi Ramirez
Accounting


Jesi Ramirez is an accounting
professional with versatile office skills and proficiency in Wolfe Pak -
New Century's financial accounting system. She attended Lone Star
College and held other accounting positions before joining New Century. |
